- Interior Design & Fit-Out
Tér Design Studio developed the interior design and fit-out for this government office in Umm Al Quwain, UAE, as a composed workplace for leadership, focused discussion and day-to-day decision-making. The brief called for an environment that could convey authority without becoming formal or imposing, balancing corporate clarity with the warmth and ease of hospitality.
The suite is organised into distinct yet visually connected zones: a principal workspace, an informal lounge for one-to-one conversation and a meeting room positioned beyond a feature wall. Open sightlines support transparency, while full-height joinery and framed partitioning introduce privacy, storage and architectural order where required.
A restrained palette of warm timber tones, textured wall finishes and graphite details is softened by upholstery, rugs and curved profiles. Layered lighting gives the interior depth across the day, while rounded desk edges and carefully scaled furnishings temper the room’s geometry.
Within the meeting room, an integrated display supports presentations and focused discussion without interrupting the composition. The resulting workplace is serene, organised and quietly assured—a setting designed to support focus, conversation and decisive leadership.
